Hunger Lunches for the Wrexham Area

Elfed ap Nefydd Roberts (previous minster at Capel y Groes) has released the current list of Hunger Lunches to be held in the Wrexham area for the rest of 2009 and on into 2010.

These lunches directly benefit the work of CAFOD and Christian Aid and are arranged under the umbrella of Cytûn.

There is also an accompanying letter direct from Elfed and you can read it and see the full list of lunches here.

24/7 Week of Prayer

It has been a wonderful 24/7 Prayer week at the Methodist Church and we owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to Richard the minister, the church stewards and members who have made everyone so welcome and have done such a fantastic job stewarding the buildings which so many have entered. It has been a busy week with some memorable moments. We thank God for the fellowship of prayer in our town.
