ChristChurch, Acton Park

There's always a welcome at ChristChurch - a growing evangelical, charismatic congregation that meets at Acton Park Community Centre (Overton Way, Acton, Wrexham LL12 7LB). Meeting on a Sunday Morning at 10.30 am we aim to bring a creative offering of worship in ways which incorporate both the contemporary and the traditional. As a congregation we are mission minded, and offer all member ministry.

The congregation works closely with other congregations in the town through Mission Wrexham, Churches together, Street Pastors, Hope08, Wrexham Listeners and many more mission initiatives. We support Traidcraft and Tear Fund, plus an adopted Mission seeking to address alcohol abuse issues in Romania. We promote biblical teaching and have groups, on Sunday and during the week for children, young people and adults. Nationally we are members of the Evangelical Alliance (www.eauk.org) and we are an Ichthus linked church (www.ichthus.org.uk). Community Church, Rhosddu

Meeting every Sunday at 10.30am for lively and Sprit led worship, you will always be assured of a warm personal welcome at Wrexham Community Church. Located on Prices Lane, come and join us as we seek to get God's heart for our community and learn about how we can grow and become more effective under His leading. With a strong emphasis on youth, every Sunday at 6pm sees The Source provide a focussed and contemporary place for those who want to get serious about their faith.

Salvation Army

Beginning over 100 years ago our vision for today stands for the same core values that it always has. We preach the truth of salvation through Jesus Christ, we take decisive action to meet the needs of the poor and disadvantaged in our community, and we provide a range of activities suited to everyone who wishes to come and join with us.

We have a number of weekly activities, including:

  • Sunday: All-age Worship, children and Youth activities
  • Tuesday: Band practice
  • Wednesday: Drop-In Centre for Refugees and Asylum Seekers, Luncheon Club, Good Company Friendship Club, Alpha Course (by arrangement)
  • Thursday: Prayer Fellowship and Songster practice

St Johns, Rhosnesni

St Johns is a lively Anglican Church, passionate about sharing the good news of Jesus and showing his love in practical ways. Sunday worship includes traditional worship at 9.30am and 6.00pm and contemporary worship with Sunday school at 11.00am. A network of fellowship groups provide a place where people can learn together, support and encourage each other and have fun together. Other activities nurture people in their faith from cradle to grave. The vicar of St Johns acts as an Alpha advisor and is Chair of Mission Wrexham.

St Johns is committed to spirit inspired worship of God, to helping people mature as Christians and live out their faith, and to share the good news of Jesus in word and deed.

Wrexham Methodist Church

Broad, active (7 days a week) and welcoming congregation with a large number of children and young people.

We have a number of weekly activities, including:

  • Tuesdays: Parents and Toddlers, Women's Fellowship Group
  • Wednesdays: Luncheon Club, Painting Group, Evening House Groups
  • Thursdays: Just Across Drop-in, Parents and Toddlers
  • Fridays: Junior and Senior Youth Clubs
  • Saturday: Roofless Breakfast, Coffee Morning and Singing Group
  • Sundays: Morning Worship with Junior Church Programme and Evening Worship
